A conversion and extension of an existing house, in a Conservation Area, from three flats back into a single family house.

The Client’s brief called for a new arrangement of internal spaces, a new extension for a large family room and three bedrooms with bathrooms, all necessary repairs, and for a comprehensive recreation of its Arts & Crafts character and details long lost during earlier conversions.

A new two storey wing has been added blending with the existing house. New fittings, such as the hand crafted oak staircase, the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom furniture, library, etc. were designed. A number of specialist craftsmen was employed in creating and putting back the period details of the house.
